  • Description

    As part of The Greene School team, this role implements key marketing strategies to increase enrollments and build brand awareness locally, nationally, and globally.  The role will manage internal and external communications by generating content using the TGS voice.

    This role serves as a key on-campus presence for marketing initiatives for The Greene School. Creating, curating, sourcing, monitoring, and generating positive content will be part of each and every day.  Due to the nature of this role, this position is an in-person role at The Greene School.

    Responsibilities

    1. Collaborate with the Admissions team to develop and launch local marketing campaigns 

    2. Assist with copywriting/editing to ensure market specifics and brand continuity

    3. Build and manage external marketing relationships

    4. Assist in planning Admissions events from a marketing perspective

    5. Create and/or source content for central social media and other marketing initiatives, specifically: 

      IG: specific stories, posts

      FB: specific messages, posts; respond to inquiries

    6. Research, make recommendations for, and oversee the communications strategy to help facilitate strong communication to current parents, students 

    7. Manage communication plan; collect, curate, and disseminate information in-line with plan

    8. Source, write, create, and distribute monthly campus newsletter (via MarketingCloud)

    9. Manage content and updates to TV screens (via Appspace) 

    10. Manage updates and edit school documents, annually 

    11. Update school profiles on portals (Niche, Boarding School Review) annually 

    12. Collecting student/family reviews for online portals and platform

    13. Regularly organize, collect and share student, staff and parent testimonials – 

    14. Regularly write stories for The Greene School blog, as assigned 

    15. Act as on-campus brand guardian 

    16. Compile and send weekly staff updates (internally) 

    17. Plan and coordinate video/photo shoots  as necessary 

    Requirements 

    •  Work experience in communication and marketing, journalism, PR or a related field

    •   Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/public relations/social media etc.) 

    •   Experience with any CMS, CRM or Marketing tool

    •    Exceptional communication and writing skills. Used to write articles, press releases, newsletters for a range of different stakeholders

    •  Attention to details, accountability, and ability to multitask

    •    Fundamental design skills (color, typography, composition)

    •    Demonstrated experience in photo/video production

    •    The ability to shoot video with proper lighting, composition and audio collection is a  major plus even if experience is personal and with TikTok or YouTube

    Job Type: Part-Time/Seasonal

    Job Summary:
    The Greene School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Girls Volleyball Coach to lead our volleyball program. The coach will be responsible for developing players' skills, fostering a competitive and positive team environment, and promoting sportsmanship and teamwork. The ideal candidate has prior coaching experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for working with student-athletes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Plan and lead team practices, conditioning, and skill development sessions.

    • Develop and implement game strategies for both individual and team success.

    • Foster a culture of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

    • Provide mentorship and guidance to student-athletes on and off the court.

    • Coordinate game schedules, transportation, and team communication.

    • Work collaboratively with school administration and athletic staff.

    • Ensure all safety protocols and school policies are followed.

    Qualifications:

    • Prior coaching or playing experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level is preferred.

    • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

    • Ability to motivate and develop student-athletes.

    • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

    • Must pass a background check.

    Season Information:

    • Practices will be held at The Greene School Gymnasium after school.

    • Games will be scheduled throughout the season, with both home and away matches.

    • The season runs from August to October (exact dates TBD).

  • The Greene School is seeking a passionate and organized Drama Artist-in-Residence to lead and coordinate our theatrical productions for grades 9-12. This role requires a creative visionary who can run rehearsals, maintain a rehearsal calendar, and ensure a smooth production process from start to finish.

    The ideal candidate is joyful, enthusiastic, and committed to fostering a dynamic and engaging experience for students. They must be detail-oriented and experienced in theater production. This is a part-time position, ideal for freelance actors, directors, and college students or professors.

    In addition to directing, responsibilities include coordinating performance logistics such as costumes, hair, and makeup, as well as organizing headshots and bios, designing programs, and managing communication with actors, families, and the performing arts coordinator.
